No news is good news?
Has everyone in the world become insane? Is there no relevant news?
Then why the hell is there so much hype for a remake of a television series (that, by the way, wasn't that great the first time around) about rich & bitchy teenagers?
The original version didn't do much for me. During the 80's, I knew a guy whose girlfriend was JP's twin sister and she was originally trying to get the role as - you guessed it - his twin sister. Funny how the role went to someone who wasn't related to him... That's as close as I got to the original series.
The only thing I want to have to do with this is to complain about the lack of originality in ideas these days. It seems like no one wants to visit anywhere outside the "nostalgia" zone...
Arghhh. No wonder the world is in such a bad state.
Thank goodness for the Becks & Bjorks of the world!!!!

Actually, R, you're the second one to mention the Golden Girls to me in two days... A friend I was talking to yesterday said that both 90210 & GG were two of the programs in Taiwan that helped him to learn English! Funny, non?
Actually, no worries about the comment malfunction. I think I'll leave them all there to give the illusion of a slough of comments being left...

I never watched 90210 when it first came out and I'll be damned if I'm gonna start now.
I actually don't own a television so I am mostly spared from such terrible programming... if I did own a television, I'd probably watch crappy, unimaginative, schlock all day long.
